William J. Hoos

Bill was chosen to participate in the training sessions for the prestigious World Equestrian Games in 2005 on Celtic Cross, a horse he trained himself. He has ridden at the Rolex International CCI**** and CCI*** levels on horses he has produced. In addition to his excellence in competition, Bill is a certified USEA Level IV instructor, as well as a Graduate “A” United States Pony Club graduate. He has coached the Area IV NAYRC Young Rider team to victory, overseeing their winning the Silver medal.

Bill has competed at “A” show Hunter’s Jumpers. He has also competed through FEI level dressage where he was awarded his Silver Medal from the United States Dressage Federation.

In 1976 Bill received as Animal Science degree from the University of Tennesse.

Bill has fox hunted and received his colors from Hillsboro Hound.

Bill has had the fortunate opportunity to train with experts in the field including:
Terrence Watkins, David O’Connor, Karl Milkola, Scott Keach, & Ottis Brown.

He is currently training with: Linda Zang, Richard Pickins, & Phillip Dutton.

Becca Hoos Mazzoni

Becca has partnered with her parents twice, riding in the NAYRC. She coaches all levels of students. Becca has ridden up to the Advanced level and has received her “B” rating from the United States Pony Club. She enjoys working with both young horses and riders. Her enthusiasm and positive attitude are contagious.

Becca is a graduate “B” of United States Pony Club

She has competed in the North American Young Rider’s Championship twice.

She has competed through advanced on several horses stating at age 16

USCTA 1998 Arabian Horse of the Year on S. G. Sirocco

She has competed through 3rd level dressage “A” show hunter’s and jumper’s, and through advanced in eventing.

Becca coaches and trains horses and riders for competitions.

Lori Hoos

Lori adds her years in the Hunters and Equitation to the mix. She graduated from William Woods University with a degree in Equine Studies. Lori is an “R” USEF/USEA licensed Eventing Judge. She is also an “r” USEF/USEA Technical Delegate for Eventing. She loves dressage and has her “L” with distinction from the USDF.

Josh Hoos

Josh works full time managing and riding horses at Harpeth Valley Farms. He has competed successfully up through Preliminary and is an avid fox hunter with Hillsboro Hounds. Josh is the unsung hero of the family, never failing to support the family team effort.

Sarah Hoos

Sarah currently runs a strong lessons program at Old Hillsboro Manor, teaching both children and amateur adults. She still likes to ride training horses and is a beautiful, gifted rider.
